The Industrial Automation Centre delivers specialist technical training through a combination of self-paced online learning and instructor-led workshops. Their existing platform was built using LearnDash within a WordPress environment. While this system had served them well, the organisation had decided to transition to LearnWorlds to provide a more integrated and scalable learning environment.
The objective of this project was to implement a complete LearnWorlds platform from the ground up, replicating the structure, branding, and learner experience of the existing LearnDash system while establishing a more flexible foundation for future course delivery.
A key requirement was continuity. Learners already enrolled in programmes needed a seamless transition, and live training was scheduled to begin on the new platform within a fixed and immovable timeframe.
Several factors made this a technically and operationally demanding implementation:

The platform was structured to support a staged learning journey, where learners completed preparation modules before progressing to instructor-led training.

To ensure continuity, the LearnWorlds platform was implemented alongside the existing LearnDash system during the transition period. This allowed:
